  • “I had gone almost a decade without doing anything physical. During those years, when I was having babies and caring for tiny people my body's function took a back seat.

I had prolapse issues that I felt like were getting worse and every time I tried to do anything I thought would help me get stronger, like walking, I just ended up making my symptoms worse. I was frustrated, in pain and doubted my ability to ever feel better.

Working with Mbong Henry was one of the best things I've ever done for myself!

She has SO much knowledge and created a really comfortable environment for topics that could, in other setting, have been uncomfortable. She was great at tailoring any move to fit my body's needs, which made me feel really safe doing the work she prescribed. She asked great questions, not just about how my body was working, but also how I was handling the process emotionally, which really helped me move through how I thought and felt about what I was capable of.

I feel so much stronger! I tend to doubt myself and anytime doubt creeps in, I can quickly shut it down because there was proof, I was doing so much more physically than I could before our sessions, I couldn't deny my improvements. I went to Mbong for help because I wanted to be able to work on my dream farm without hurting myself, and I am!! I work in the fields without worrying if my body is going to give out, and I have tools to keep taking care of the things had have caused me problems in the past. I no longer rush to the bathroom a million times a day AND I do not feel any prolapse symptoms. I still have a body that birthed two kids, and didn't move much for a decade, but now I know so much more about how it works and how to support it.

I can't say enough good things about my experience.

It sounds corny but it was truly life changing and I'm so thankful I was able to find someone like Mbong to work with!”

  • “Before working with Mbong, I was experiencing pelvic and back pain following a surgery. The pain was preventing me from exercising, getting a good night of sleep, and getting around in my daily life.

Since working with Mbong, I have been able to sleep well, decrease my pelvic and back pain, and feel stronger. Overall, I feel so empowered through my work with Mbong - I have a greater and more holistic understanding of my body's response to pain and to stress. Instead of feeling fearful of moving through these realities, I now feel empowered with knowledge, practices, and strategies that I know will support me and carry me through difficulties in the present and future.

It has truly been a pleasure to work with Mbong. She is incredibly professional, knowledgable, and kind. I so appreciate her holistic approach to pain.”

  • “Before starting with Mbong, I struggled with both stress and urge incontinence. I was leaking urine most days and having to wear absorbent underwear. I was also unable to play tennis or run because of my inability to hold my urine. I would sometimes leak when I was picking up my toddler or trying to play with my kids outside. I was changing many of my activities and frequently concerned about wetting myself.

Mbong was compassionate, kind, and respectful. I enjoyed her approach. She was able to make some very embarrassing discussions less shameful so we could understand my symptoms. She tailored exercises to meet the needs of my daily life- carrying my baby around, playing tennis, wanting to take up running. Mbong was supportive and encouraged me to try different things while respecting my boundaries.

I had huge improvements working with Mbong. I didn't realize how much I was restricting my daily life because of my leaking. I no longer wear my absorbent underwear. I also took up running and ran my first 5K! Concerns about leaking are no longer at the forefront of my mind throughout the day. I am more confident and able to participate more playing with my kids. It has been fun to be more active and engage in sports and games with them.

I thought leaking was just part of being a mom of 3. I didn't seek out help until I completely lost my urine in public and was so embarrassed. I have been so happy with my improvement. I wish I would have seen Mbong sooner!” —HAPPY MOM OF 3

  • “I have worked with physical therapists before for this and other issues with mixed results. Working with Mbong was a completely different experience, and much more focused on the mind-body connection than other PTs. She created a space where we were able to talk through not only the physical symptoms I was experiencing, but also the psychological drivers for chronic pain (stress, for example) and the different levers for addressing those.

Overall, she was encouraging, warm, shared genuine enthusiasm for my goals and progress, and taught me a lot about how to manage and reduce my specific pain and leakage issues, and about how to take better care of myself in general as a busy mom.

    I'm grateful!”

  • “I am a teacher in my 50s who is active and healthy. I injured my lower back and was frustrated with the slow healing process. The same spot got aggravated when I tried to run or do a workout at Orange Theory at the time. I was seeing my regular physical therapist and getting some relief. When school started, I suddenly had trouble with incontinence. My PT suggested I pursue pelvic PT for support. Nobody has ever talked about pelvic PTs to me before. I have three daughters and my oldest is 28 years old. I wish I'd known about pelvic PTs back then! After my initial call with Dr. Henry by phone last November, I knew I was on the right path.

I like learning how my body works and I like to know they how and why behind what was causing my back pain and incontinence.

So often as women we hear, "It's stress."

In just 6 sessions, Dr. Henry helped educate me, motivate me to do specific exercises, including relaxation, to slowly see improvements.

I felt like I could talk about anything with her. I appreciate how she looked at me as a whole person and not just someone with this problem or that challenge. The mind and body have to work together. I also felt like I didn't discover this practice too late.

Anytime is a good time to see a pelvic PT throughout a women's life. The pelvic floor is connected to so many things we experience as women (and men!).
