  • At Radiance Physical Therapy, you will receive one on one care by a doctor of physical therapy: Mbong Henry PT, DPT.

    Her unique approach includes—

    Providing ample time (2-hours or 60-minutes) at your first appointment to hear your story, and understand your concerns

    Perform a hands on assessment as well as take you through functional movements specific to your concerns (squatting, jumping, etc) and together with you determine a treatment plan.

    Discuss a treatment plan of care that is tailored specifically to your needs and your goals.

    You will be provided with education on self management of your symptoms and a customized exercise program for you to complete in between your appointments.

    IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU ARE AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN YOUR CARE!

  • No! Many of the concerns we treat are common in people who have not been pregnant or do not identify as female.

  • Kegels (just squeezing the pelvic floor) might not be what you need. Running is such a dynamic activity and so many factors outside of the pelvic floor help you stay dry. From your assessment, we create a treatment plan for your body's needs.

  • Yes! We will help you find comfortable movement strategies and customized exercises to reduce your symptoms and help you feel confident in your body leading up to delivery. We can also provide you with education on positioning during labor and delivery to practice ahead of time to reduce risk of pelvic floor injury.

  • It is common, but there are treatments available!

    Pelvic Health Physical Therapy is a conservative option that many have found success with. Our treatment of leakage with activity takes you beyond kegels, remember- you are more than your pelvic floor! If you leak with running, double unders, or singing, we can help you utilize ways to find relief of your symptoms.

  • Absolutely! Radiance Physical Therapy will work with you!

    Whether your main concern is back pain while carrying a wiggling toddler and sleeping newborn while walking up stairs, the desire to enjoy a weekend long run without the worry of leakage, wanting to avoid leakage when laughing during a funny movie, managing pelvic pain while getting out of a chair, or being worry-free from tracking down a restroom when you are out and about on the town- we can help!

  • Yes! Give us a call. Let’s discuss ways you can reach your goals, improve your symptoms, and keep running.

  • We hear that one alot! Many of our patients find our style supplements the prior treatments that they had before and very helpful for them to reach the results they are looking for.

  • Dr. Mbong recommends scheduling as soon as possible during your pregnancy.

    Ideally, in the beginning of your 2nd trimester or in your first trimester if you are experiencing any back pain, pelvic discomfort, or leakage. The sooner you schedule, the better she can help you prepare for your birth and enhance your postpartum recovery!

  • Radiance Physical Therapy,LLC is an out of network clinic, which means each session is fee for service, which means you pay at the time of service. This allows your care at Radiance to be directed by you and not dictated by a third party. Accepted payment methods include: credit/debit card, Health savings accounts, or Flexible spending accounts. You will be provided with a detailed superbill to submit if you choose to seek reimbursement from your insurance for your out of network benefits.  All of services at Radiance PT are within your out of network benefits, Radiance PT does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company.
